Terms of Service
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms set out the rules for using the NextPass platform, the responsibilities of each party, and the limits of our respective obligations.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the NextPass platform. By using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation.
2. The service
NextPass provides software to control access at turnstiles, barriers and entrance doors, to record entry and exit passages, and to derive attendance, leave and reporting outputs from them.
We may update, improve or change features of the platform over time. We will not materially reduce the core functionality your organisation relies on without reasonable notice.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the personnel, credential and controller data you enter, for managing administrator accounts and roles, and for using the platform in line with the laws that apply to your site.
You must obtain any consents or provide any notices required before enrolling a person's card, fingerprint or car sticker and recording their passages.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to unlawfully monitor individuals, to interfere with its security or availability, or to attempt to access data belonging to another organisation.
5. Availability and support
We aim to keep the platform and its controller sync service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Physical access hardware remains your responsibility to power and maintain.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, NextPass is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
